National Program (Bari') Targets Seven Main Cities to Market Handicraft and Heritage Products

The National Program for Handcrafts and Industries (Bari'), affiliated with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, continues launching its tourist events that aim at marketing handicraft and heritage products in seven main regions of the Kingdom.

The national program (Bari') identified the regions that will host those events during March and April, 2019, which are: Tabouk, Hael, Qassim, Macca Al Mukarramah and northern borders area, in addition to the governorates of Taef and Khubar.

(Bari') said that two events were accredited to be held in Taef, including a shopping festival in Tabouk and Bazar al Hakir, where in Hael will witness the launch of the desert rally festival and launching the falcon festival in the northern borders area. Taef Governorate will witness the launch of the "Greenwich colors" forum and "TaefBride" festival, during March and April.  

As for the events and festivals that will be launched in next April, the National Program (Bari') stated that Al Qassim area will witness the launch of Al QassimClassic Festival and the participation in the special pavilion called "Made in Al Qassim" to market handicraft products and works in the area. 

The National Program (Bari') referred to several participations lately, which included a number of events, festivals and exhibitions that aim at marketing the heritage handicraft products, such as consumer fairs in Mecca Al Mukarramahunder the title "Ghumrati Exhibition" and "Ghuzlan Exhibition" in the KhubarGovernorate in the Easter Region. 

The National Program (Bari') referred to its recent participation in four exhibitions specialized in handicrafts products that were launched in malls located in the northern borders area and the TaefGovernorate. 

As for international festivals, the National Program (Bari') has recently participated in the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival that was held in the UAE, in addition to the "Popular Heritage Festival" that was held in Kuwait.  

The National Program for Handcrafts and Industries (Bari') has also participated in several heritage festivals at the local level, including the first Janadriya festivel that was held in Hael, Breidah Spring Festival, Al Ghada Festival that was held in Oneizah, heritage village festival in OyunJawa, "What Zarqa' Al Yamamah has not said" festival and the "Childhood is happiness" festival that has been recentlyheld in the Taef Governorate.
