The Tourism Ministry is Scheduled on Sunday to Launch a Pack of Training Programmes in the Tourism Sector

The Tourism Ministry is launching a number of programmes that aim at rehabilitating employees of the tourism sectors through providing them training on a set of skills in several fields, including: qualifying and rehabilitating reservation and ticketing employees, training on preventive measures against infection and fighting the disease in administrating tourist institutions and facilities, in addition to culinary arts, beverage preparation skills, basic principles in customer service, and learning English basics and principles used in the hospitality sector. 

These training programmes target workers in the tourist sectors in addition to those who deal with visitors and tourists in a direct way.

The ministry called on interested people and workers in the tourist sectors in the Kingdom to benefit from these training programmes that the ministry will launch as of Sunday October 18, 2020 and will last till April 2021.

These programmes aim at investing in building up distinguished capabilities of Saudi young people and rehabilitating them to work in the tourism sector that represents the biggest sectors that generate jobs worldwide.

Also, these programmes, presented by the ministry in cooperation with a number of specialised centres, is part of opening job opportunities, developing skills, diversifying the sources of local revenues and developing the human resources through expanding direct training fields, as well as activating the digital transformation in the fields of remote training and benefiting from the developed infrastructure and digital efficiency of the platforms of the ministry.
