Ministry of Tourism launches its new identity

The Ministry of Tourism has launched its new identity, whose lines and vivid colors reflect the Kingdom’s flag and map that extends north, south, east and west, highlighting the tourist, heritage and cultural richness and diversity in the Kingdom, with linking this to the experience of tourists who move among the various tourist destinations of the Kingdom, where they can feel the values of hospitality and welcome enjoyed by the Saudi people.

The identity blends with the “Welcome, World” motto that was launched in conjunction with opening the Kingdom’s doors to the world and launching the tourist visa to visitors from various countries, where citizens of 49 countries can now enter the Kingdom through the e-platform or upon arrival, where the same procedure applies to holders of the Schengen visa, US visa and the UK visa, providing that they have used these visas to arriving in those countries first with the importance of using a national carrier in arriving in the Kingdom, where they can receive visa upon arrival in the Kingdom. So far, more than 400,000 tourist visas have been issued.

The identity aims at enhancing the plan of the Ministry of Tourism to realise the National Strategy for Tourism, which included the contribution of the tourism sector to the gross domestic product by 10 per cent, providing one million new jobs and welcoming 100 million visitors by 2030.
