Al Masmak Museum Welcomes 20,000 Visitors in January
 
The historical Masmak Museum in Riyadh earlier in the year during Jumada I received around 20,000 visitors, including Their Highnesses  Royal family members, state guests, members of diplomatic missions, public and private sectors' employees, school students, individuals and families of citizens and residents representing various classes of the society.

Nasser Al Arifi, director of Al Masmak Museum, announced that the number of students from various academic levels at public and private schools who visited Al Masmak Museum last month stood at 839 students, and the number of official visitors reached 318, while 18,369 citizens and residents visited the museum. 

He pointed out that the museum offered its visitors several programs, events and activities that suited all types of visitors, in addition to showcasing visual presentations on the unification of the Kingdom, invasion of Masmak and restoring Riyadh, as well as photos of historical and heritage buildings from various regions of the Kingdom and printed materials related to the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage. 

Director of the museum invited all citizens and resident to visit this important landmark in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to remember the efforts of the Founder King Abdul-Aziz, (May his soul rest in peace), in unifying this great entity.  

It is worth mentioning that Al Masmak Historical Museum is a tourist destination for the state guests, tourists and the capital's visitors and residents, in addition to its receiving of school students from all educational levels, both boys and girls. The museum welcomes visitors all year long between 8am and 9pm, including Fridays between 4pm and 8pm and Saturdays between 9am and 8pm, and on Eid and official holidays.
