The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS), on Saturday, 1st June, entered into an agreement of cooperation in the area of "Security and safety of tourism and antiquities".
The agreement was signed by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President of SCTA, and Dr. Jam'an Rasheed bin Ragoosh, Chancellor of NAUSS. The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of SCTA in Riyadh.
In a press statement following the signing of the agreement, SCTA President, pointed out that, the agreement aims to further enroot and enhance the great and close cooperation existing between SCTA and the Ministry of Interior. "This cooperation enjoys great support and attention from HRH Prince Mohammad bin Naif, Minister of Interior," HRH declared.

"For these reasons, we have entered into this agreement, which includes a number of cooperation programs between SCTA and NAUSS in areas of tourism security, in addition to raising awareness among the security forces in dealing with tourists, exchange technical and scientific advances in the field of tourism and antiquities' security, and utilize the expertise of NAUSS and its qualified staff in this area," added HRH.
For his part, Dr. Jam'an Rasheed bin Ragoosh, Chancellor of NAUSS, expressed his thanks and gratitude to HRH President of SCTA for his attention and support for cooperation between the Commission and NAUSS, pointing to the importance of the agreement to enhance cooperation efforts in the field of tourism security.
"NAUSS will not hesitate to provide tourism sector with necessary support because of its economic importance as a vital sector and a major factor for the security and stability, especially that it contributes greatly to inform people about their history and national heritage.
