Accessibility

The Ministry of Tourism is committed to providing an inclusive digital experience that enables all users, including persons with special needs and older adults, to access website content and digital services with ease. The Ministry provides supportive features and tools, including sign language services and an accessibility tool, in line with best practices and recognized digital accessibility guidelines.

Accessible through the dedicated website icon, the accessibility tool offers three categories that allow users to customize their browsing experience according to their needs:

  • Tools: Content adjustments include a simplified font, link highlighting, larger text, text alignment, and line, letter, and word spacing. Color adjustments include saturation and contrast controls. Orientation adjustments include cursor settings, pausing animations, page structure, a screen reader, and image hiding.
  • Profiles: Options support users with visual impairments, dyslexia, ADHD, seizures and epilepsy, color blindness, cognitive and learning difficulties, and mobility impairments.
  • Translate: Provides multiple language options and a search bar to find the required language.

The website provides sign language support to assist users who rely on sign language in accessing content available through this service. This contributes to a more inclusive digital experience and helps users access information provided on the website.

The Ministry of Tourism strives to provide a responsive browsing experience across different devices, including desktop computers, tablets, and mobile phones, supporting easy access to website content and services across various screen sizes.

The Ministry of Tourism welcomes user feedback and suggestions regarding website accessibility and encourages users to report any challenges they may encounter while browsing. This feedback supports efforts to improve the user experience and enhance access to digital content and services.
