Saudi Tourism Minister Holds Talks with Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister

His Excellency Ahmed Al Khateeb, Minister of Tourism, met today with His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of Their Excellencies the GCC ministers responsible for tourism. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 10th Meeting of the Ministers Responsible for Tourism in the GCC Countries in Manama.

H.E. Al Khateeb expressed his appreciation to H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa for the warm welcome and generous hospitality. He affirmed the deep fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlighting the close cooperation shared between the two countries across various sectors, particularly tourism.

The two sides discussed recent developments and growth prospects within the tourism sector, alongside strategies to strengthen regional cooperation among GCC member states. They also explored ongoing collaboration and knowledge exchange to bolster the sector's regional and international competitiveness, leveraging the continuous support of GCC leaders.
